Interesting article in the Australian, about the recent case of former WCT surfer Shane Bevan, who was sacked from his job as a baggage handler for surfing in the Coolum Classic while on sick leave. The Industrial Relations Commission agreed with Bevan that his sacking was unfair and ordered his employer to pay compensation. Yeehah! Now they're the sort of work choices this country needs.
