Great workshop for creative freelancers trying to run a business

Did a fantastic workshop on the weekend with a woman called Monica Davidson, at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School in Brisbane, for creative freelancers trying to develop more of an act business-wise. Monica is an inspiring self-made woman who rose to the challenge of single parenthood by creating her own multi-pronged media production business, making videos, short films, writing, and running workshops all while raising three young girls. Pretty amazing. The course teaches a great deal about time and money management, law, contracts, tax, and how to nurture your creative inner child while crossing swords with the suits in the world of business. I got a lot out of it and think any creative freelancer struggling with the realities of earning a living would enjoy it.
