Me, I like books and book stores. Paper and ink. Flesh and blood people. But getting international distribution for Australian books is hard, even if you know there is a readership out there. So it's kinda exciting as a writer that it is now easier than ever for people to find out about and read your books.

Personally, I dig going into book stores run by passionate people who are full of recommendations and the staff have all tagged their latest favourite reads. I like flicking pages and dog-earing the corners and going into someone else's house and being able to learn a bit more about them by perusing their book case. I hope physical books and book stores hang around, and I'd urge Australian readers to pop into their local book store and have a browse. But if you live somewhere other than Australia, most of my books are now available on-line as e-books or can be easily ordered on-line. A victory for freedom of choice.
