"Nobody reads any more." So says Apple boss Steve Jobs, but what does he know. When was the last time he got something right? Oh, okay the i-pod. Yeah, the i-phone seems to have caught on. And, well, yes, actually I am typing on a sleak, user-friendly i-Mac. But really? Nobody reads? Then why are Apple developing the next generation e-book reader in the Tablet. As Jobs well knows, you just have to take the message to the medium. Hence, my world first, interactive, surfing e-novel in progress. You can read, comment, share, mock, vote off your least favourite character - though hopefully not the appalling lead character Camel, self-made surfwear magnate, because then I am kinda screwed for a story. Anyway, please take a look and let me know if I am tripping. This better work because once this gets out I will never be allowed to work in the surf industry again. I am interested in how often and how much I should post to satisfy the reading appetite of the average human - 500 words a day? 1000 a week? More? Less? In the unlikely event that you love it and absolutely must have more urgently drop me a line and I'm sure we can work out some sort of express service. This may well be career suicide - think of me as the man on the ledge, and you the blood thirsty crowd baying me to jump. Or something.
