Was asked to blog for my publisher last week. Here's what I came up with

I have never really got into the habit of daily blogging. Maybe because, as a working journalist for 25 years, I generally prefer to get paid to write (who doesn't, right?) and make sure I have something to say. But when I was asked by my publishers to perform honorary blogging duties last week I thought, what the heck. How hard can it be? I actually found I quite enjoyed the experience. Book signings, a surf movie binge, Morning of the Earth concert and a climate change debate - it was a bit of a mixed bag and didn't exactly light up the comments boards, but here's a link if anyone is remotely interested (If you cop some guff from Ray Martin, just scroll down.
