Donald Paarman is the eldest son of one of the most renowned surfing family's in South Africa and his self-published autobiography, Lunatic Surfer or Destiny, is an amazing read. Consider the initials of that title and you'll get a hint at some of the influences at work in his amazing tale. From growing up in Captetown and discovering the wave rich South African coast as a grom, to representing his country, military service, then increasingly chaotic travels around the country and the world, Donald has led a life you will have to read about to believe.
